The Gold Coast has something for every kind of rider — casual cruisers, families, roadies, and mountain bikers alike. With safe shared paths, bike-friendly cafes, and endless sunshine, all you need is your helmet and a sense of adventure.
Why not switch up your day, slow things down, and see the coast from a new perspective — on two wheels?
Experience the beautiful Tweed Coast by bike. This ride follows the coastline from South to North. Starting in Ocean Shores you will explore amazing headlands, pristine deserted beaches & incredible rock formations. With lunch & snacks provided all you need to do is take in the scenery.
The Northern Rivers Rail Trail offers a scenic journey through beautiful landscapes, charming local towns, and a variety of great spots to eat, stay, and explore. Whether you’re cycling, walking, or running, it’s easy to plan your adventure with convenient bike hire. Set your own pace and discover the best the region has to offer.
Hidden Vale Adventure Park (HVAP), an hour’s drive west of Brisbane, offers a variety of terrain with up to 80 kilometres of mountain bike and trail running network catering for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a bike rider, runner or hiker, you’ll love exploring the 2,000 acre property.
The Nerang Mountain Bike Trails are located just 12 km from Surfers Paradise and only a few kilometres from Nerang Train Station. Situated within a 1,700-hectare National Park managed by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, the area is open to mountain bikers, walkers, and horse riders.
While the trails are mostly geared towards cross-country riding, there are still some exciting descents to enjoy. The terrain can be quite technical, featuring a mix of steep climbs, rocky sections, and trails that are only partially groomed. In terms of difficulty, it’s likely a notch or two above other popular tracks in the region.
